How The Room Is Used

Nine types of session the room is regularly booked for, and what each one requires

Training and workshops

The room is equipped for presenter-led delivery. Ten to twelve delegates are seated at a single table facing a 65″ screen, so material remains legible from every seat.

Training courses: Suitable for corporate, technical and compliance training. Uninterrupted power, climate control and refreshments throughout the day support full-day programmes. Catering can be arranged in advance so that delegates remain on site over the lunch break.
Seminars: Presenter-led sessions delivered largely from the screen. HDMI and wireless casting allow a guest speaker to connect from their own device without additional equipment.
Workshops: Participative sessions in which delegates work together at a single table. The room is private and closed to the rest of the building for the duration of your booking.

Screen-led sessions

Sessions in which the display carries the content. The 65″ smart TV accepts an HDMI connection or a wireless cast, so material is presented directly from your own device.

Presentations: Suitable for pitches, board reporting, client proposals and product demonstrations. A private room with a display sized to remain legible from the far end of the table.
Webinars and online sessions: Uncapped fibre and an uninterrupted power supply ensure that a scheduled load-shedding period does not interrupt a live broadcast. Present from your laptop with the display mirrored to the screen.

Formal and private

Sessions in which confidentiality is the primary requirement. The room is private and reached through a staffed reception, and secure parking allows attendees to arrive and depart independently.

Disciplinary hearings: Neutral premises for proceedings that cannot appropriately be held at either party’s offices. XEN4 provides the venue only. Chairpersons, initiators, interpreters and commissioners remain the responsibility of the booking party, which allows attorneys and HR consultants to reserve the room on a client’s behalf.
Tutoring and lessons: One-to-one and small group teaching in a quiet, private room. Uncapped WiFi supports online material, and the room remains closed for the full session.

Team sessions

Internal sessions held away from your own premises, in a private room reserved for your group for the full duration of the booking.

Board meetings: A formal boardroom table seating ten to twelve, with directors received at reception on arrival.
Strategy sessions: Extended sessions held off site, away from the interruptions of the working day.
Brainstorms: Collaborative sessions at a single table, in a private room where the group will not be overheard or interrupted.
Team days: Full-day sessions in a single room with refreshments provided throughout. Catering can be arranged in advance so that the group remains on site.
